About Me
Hello, my name is Amy Colombo and Welcome to my website! Here’s a lit bit about me and what I offer.
I am a PreK teacher living in Upstate New York and I love what I do!! One of my other great passions in life are my workshops and girls empowerment curriculum. I started this journey back in 2012 when God put on my heart to start a girls program. One that built character and promoted getting to know others on a deeper level while having fun, building compassion and relationships.
During this time, my heart was going through some healing of my own and I wrote Rise Above Rochester (an anti-bullying program for Middle School age children). A powerful presentation that brings awareness to bullying and it’s overall lingering effects. Throughout the past 10 years, I have continued working with schools, teams, Girl Scout troops and groups in the community. I am also honored that my 8-week girls curriculum has been taught by school counselors, social workers, homeschool co-ops and others.
It is my utmost goal to help build relationships within a classroom, team or group! To see young people set free from pain and for those who may be causing painful experiences to be set free as well. Learning at a young age to live a life of compassion for others and for yourself is the most important thing we can learn.
